How does
Art Therapy work?

connect

reflect

At your appointment we start with checking in and touching base with what you're needing.  This becomes a grounding ritual to anchor us and can range from a body scan, talking, movement, brief art making, and more.

Let's make art!  Using complimentary art supplies you're guided to create and express what's showing up for you onto the page, canvas, clay, collage or other media.

With curiosity and compassion, we'll reflect on what's made, helping you to gain a new perspective and find healing.

Schedule

Brainspotting is a mind-body treatment approach using a person's visual field to help process trauma and overwhelming experiences.

Schedule

Talk therapy is an effective way to explore challenges and work towards feeling better. I use a creative, compassionate approach to support clients in both individual and family sessions.

Schedule

Art therapy sessions include a range of art materials and processes. A variety of media is often used from creating with clay, collage, paint, drawing, and more. The focus of art therapy isn't so much the finished art project but the process itself.
