I am a Registered Art Therapist, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and attended Adler Graduate School where I gained my degree in Clinical Mental Health with an emphasis in Art Therapy. As a therapist for over eight years my experiences include treating a variety of children and adults in an outpatient setting primarily addressing anxiety, depression and PTSD, working with children with trauma in foster homes, within a residential chemical dependency treatment center, as well as in a partial hospitalization program.
I have additional training in brainspotting and find it highly effective in helping clients move through very "stuck" experiences with their mental health. Brainspotting is a mind-body treatment approach using a person's visual field to help process trauma and overwhelming experiences.
I believe strongly in my clients' innate wisdom. I use a creative, encouraging approach to support clients to reconnect with their truth to find healing. I value authenticity, and work in a non-judgmental, compassionate, and empowering style.
In my time as a human, I've found there is no way to escape suffering, but many ways to learn to accept, embrace and move through it with bravery and humility--and maybe even a bit of humor.
I love any opportunity to be outdoors, relaxing with family, playing with my dogs, or creating something inspiring around my home! I enjoy my work as a therapist and am perpetually inspired by the human drive for growth and healing, and I would be honored to work with you.
"What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"
"Doing less doesn't make you worth less. And if you do less, everything will still be okay. You'll just feel better."

"The answer to the questions you've spent a lifetime asking...will everything be okay, am I okay, did I do enough, will I feel it, the happiness, the wholeness, the peace, the love, the joy, the connection I so deeply crave?
Yes, if you allow it."
